Finally. Finally I can say it out loud.
I will be at Quiltköping 2026 — not as a visitor this time, but as an exhibitor with my own booth. It feels a bit surreal to write that, but it's true, and I'm so happy that it's finally happening.
Quiltköping is one of Sweden's most beloved sewing and quilting fairs, and for me, who has a deep love for fabric, color, craftsmanship and everything that creation entails — well, it's a bit like coming home. Although to a home you've never lived in before but always knew you belonged in.
At the booth you will meet Amaelle Saturdays — Studio Saturday — with everything it entails: patterns, colors, the joy of creation and the flow that occurs when you sit with something you love in your hands.
But now I need your help with something fun!
Goodie bags will be given out at the fair — and I'll be contributing something from Amaelle to several hundred of them. Several hundred! That's not a small amount.
So I'm sitting here thinking, tossing and turning ideas around. It should be something that feels genuinely Amaelle — beautiful, meaningful, useful — but also something that is reasonable in size and cost when you hand it out to so many people. I'm new to this fair life and want to do it wisely and with my heart in the right place.
Maybe something small to sew with? A little inspiration? A sample of a small pattern? I actually don't know yet — and that's exactly why I'm asking you.
