Oh my god… why doesn't anything work anymore? (Smart package tracking without apps)

I stood there again.

With my phone in my hand, waiting for a package that should have arrived — but couldn't quite find it.

The “My Packages” app, which had long been my little safety net, suddenly started to feel… unsafe. Updates that weren’t right. Packages that disappeared from the overview. That feeling that I needed to check more — instead of feeling calm.

And when technology starts to create more noise than support, then I know it's time to stop.

Don't add more.

Without simplifying.

🌿 Smart Living often starts with removing something

Instead of looking for yet another tracking app, I started thinking:

What is already here?

The answer was simple.

All.

• The email where the delivery notification lands

• iPhone automatically recognizes dates and times

• The calendar that can visually show the rhythm of everyday life

So I stopped chasing apps — and built a smoother structure.

📦 My new parcel routine

I created:

1. A Mail folder called “📦 Packages”.

2. Delivery emails from PostNord, DHL, UPS, Bring, Instabox, Budbee, etc. end up there.

3. iPhone often marks the delivery date automatically.

4. One tap on the date → create calendar event.

5. All deliveries are in their own calendar, which means I can see them directly in the week view and on the lock screen.

It took a few minutes to set up.

And suddenly everything became… quieter.

✨ The beauty I discovered

Smart technology is not about more apps.

It's about letting the systems work in the background — so you can be more present in the life ahead.

Less control. More flow.

💙 Tech Thursday — Smart Living

I'm thinking about making a little mini-guide out of this, because it actually changed how I handle deliveries in everyday life.

Please let me know if you want me to share it.
